Set high on the Terranora Hills with sweeping views across the coastline and Tweed River waterways, Parkes Residence is a full service interior design project for returning clients who once again entrusted us to help shape their forever home.

This brand new build blends refined modern farmhouse elements with subtle Japandi influences, resulting in a home that feels calm, grounded, and timeless. The design was guided by the architecture while being carefully tailored to the way our clients live, with a strong focus on flow, functionality, and long term livability.

Our scope included spatial planning, kitchen and bathroom design, custom joinery throughout, complete interior and exterior selections, and full furnishings for the home. Every decision was considered holistically to ensure the interiors felt cohesive, practical, and effortless to live in.

Delivered through a highly collaborative process alongside Michael at Focal Building Design and builder Simon Cassar of Cassar Homes, every detail was resolved early to support a seamless transition from design to construction. Construction commenced in late 2024, with handover completed just in time for our clients to enjoy their first Christmas in their new home.

From the curved staircase and stone fireplace to the timber panelling and restrained colour palette, Parkes Residence reflects our signature approach — thoughtful, cohesive interiors designed to support everyday living with ease.
