Designer On Call
We’re here for when you need us most. Perhaps your budget doesn’t extend to a full-service design or you’re a confident DIYer, but you need occasional guidance and a sounding board before making a big decision – whether that be a floor plan, paint colour palette or furniture sourcing. Make it right, the first time around (you can thank us later!).
Our signature Designer on Call service is for individuals who need ongoing design advice on an as needed basis, and not necessarily all at once. If you require more than a two-hour in-home consultation but don’t need to retain us for a full-service design project, this has your name on it. This budget friendly service gives you the flexibility to receive a fast-tracked dose of our design knowledge on speed dial, only when you need it.
- You’ve had a one-off consultation with our studio and following the consultation, you need additional advice or have more questions you want to workshop together.
- You’re self-implementing your project but would benefit from a ‘check in’ with an experienced designer to ask questions and seek guidance along the way.
- You’re unsure of the exact scope of your project and would prefer the flexibility of accessing our expertise on a need’s basis.
- Personalised access to the studio’s Creative Director Lynda for expert advice, recommendations and the best ideas.
- A flexible set of hours to be used however you wish! This can include in person appointments, site visits, showroom visits and communication over emails or Zoom.
- Time log record of hours kept, available for request at any time.

A one-stop hit of design inspiration, guidance and actionable advice all in a two-hour consultation. At this in-person session (fuelled by coffee and pastries), Director Lynda will answer any burning questions you have, identify creative solutions to design challenges and provide practical steps to move your project forward in the right direction. It’s the perfect opportunity to get an expert second opinion on interior decoration projects or renovations and building work.
Some clients have used this service to review existing architectural plans for an upcoming new build or reno, while others have used it to go through material selections. It’s your time, so gather your questions, floor plans and samples to make the most of the session.
Note: Zoom sessions can be arranged for interstate clients.

Getting to know you
01 Discovery Call
Complimentary
In this complimentary 20 minute phone call, we’ll discuss your project goals, timeline, and budget. Well share about our process to determine if were a good fit and answer any questions you have about working together.
02 Consultation
$440
During this two-hour in home consultation, we’ll walk through your space, take notes, share ideas and gather the information we need to prepare a proposal for your project. The consultation fee is non-refundable and is not applied toward any future design fees.
03 Proposal
Approve & sign
After the consultation, we’ll prepare a detailed proposal to outline the scope of work, and tentatively hold a Kick off Date for your Project to commence. Once approved, you’ll sign our standard contract and invoice to officially confirm your spot on our design calendar.

Once it’s official, we’ll schedule your in-home kickoff meeting and send over additional details to help us understand your design style lifestyle, and goals.
02 Kick Off Meeting
During this 60 minute in-home meeting, we’ll take pictures and measurements, catalog your existing furniture, if applicable, and get to know you and your family.
03 Design Time
With a full understanding of your lifestyle, design aesthetic, and goals, we’ll move into our detailed design phase to prepare the perfect plan for your space.
